Who We Are and What We Do
Sheba S’Quay, whose name means “Woman of the Morning,” is a woman of medicine guided by the Ancients. A pipe carrier, she is a member of Algonquin circles in Vermont and has served as an oskapewis (ceremonial helper) in traditional ceremonies on the Little Pine First Nation reserve in Saskatchewan. The ceremonies were a soul-guided path—an inner calling where the mission unfolded through learning, under the guidance of Elders and spiritual guides.
The songs that live within her are transmitted in the night—ancient songs carrying a wisdom that moves through her. Through her drum and sacred objects, she opens spaces of well-being, peace, and reconnection, where each person is invited to return to what is essential.
By her side is her husband, Delvin Kanewiyakiho, life and ceremony companion. He is a Cree First Nations medicine man, a teacher for 28 years, and a carrier of the pipe, the language, and the traditions of his ancestors. A guardian of knowledge, his name means Four Winds, or Four Directions. He walks with the elements and the Great Spirits to offer ancestral treatments, blessings, and sacred ceremonies.
Beyond his role as an educator, he actively participates in cultural events and the oral sharing of traditional knowledge. He has facilitated sessions on the importance of treaties, Indigenous ceremonies, and traditional practices such as the pipe ceremony. His goal is to pass on knowledge, history, and cultural practices to future generations. His commitment to Indigenous education and cultural preservation has made him a respected figure within his community and beyond. He received the “Inspired Award – Guiding the Journey” in the category of Language, Culture, and Traditions, in recognition of his dedication to preserving and teaching Indigenous languages and traditions.
He is also a member of the Speakers Bureau of the Office of the Treaty Commissioner, where he shares his knowledge of treaty history, relationships, and the responsibilities that arise from them.
Together, they unite their strengths and their hearts to guide, support, and honor those who come to them. They are way-showers, in service to all living beings.

Welcome
Miyayawin Ceremonial Care
Treatment miyayawin
(A State of Well-Being)
Ancestral Native American Treatment – Harmony of Body and Spirit
We offer an ancestral Native American treatment that works with energy, the soul, and the body. This care is intended to release blockages, purify energy, and restore inner harmony.
The person lies on the table, and together we work to channel the energy.
• Delvin uses a large eagle feather to perform ritual passes over the entire body. This powerful gesture helps disperse stagnant energies, release tension, and realign vital energy. The eagle is a messenger between worlds, and its wing acts as a sacred tool to carry energies where they need to go.
• I allow my drum to transmit its spiral vibrations at the level of the head, which then envelop the entire body. The drum is a heartbeat—a vibration that opens the door to deep harmonization. The sound of the drum helps one enter a meditative state, become grounded, receive messages from the ancestors, and strengthen the effects of the treatment.
This care does not come only from us; it is guided by the Grandfathers, the Masters, and the benevolent Spirits who walk with us. We are simply channels through which this energy can flow. Each person receives what they need—whether it is soothing, awareness, or energetic rebalancing.
It is a sacred moment, a connection with ancestral forces and the wisdom of the elements.
Each person receives only what they are ready to welcome—nothing more, nothing less. The energy acts according to one’s path, at the pace of what their being is prepared to receive and integrate.
Great Spirit,
May my heart remain open,
May my mind be at peace,
May my body find its balance,
May my steps follow the path of wisdom.
I give thanks for what is, what has been, and what is to come. hi hi
