 My journey

Sheba S’Quay is a mother and grandmother to a little ray of sunshine she affectionately calls her little Jaxson. She shares her life with a charming and honorable man and remains deeply in love with life. Her journey has not always been easy, but by welcoming each experience with openness, she found peace—understanding that every step shaped her and guided her to who she is today.

A significant part of her life unfolded in the world of horses. Surrounded by them for many years, she developed an intuitive, respectful, and deeply life-centered relationship. This love for animals still accompanies her today and is expressed through some of her creations, designed with the same care for respect and well-being.

From an early age, inner doors opened through long periods of meditation. She trained as a Reiki Master and reflexologist—an important phase during which, in her words, an inner book opened, revealing a broader understanding of vital energy and awakening ancestral memories. This period clarified her life mission and refined the way she supports others.

Over time, drums, Indigenous songs, and ceremonies took a central place in her life. A member of Algonquin circles in Vermont, she received teachings from oral tradition and writings passed down by Chief John Running Deer. Her path then led her to Saskatchewan, to the Little Pine First Nation reserve, where she experienced deep immersion in living traditions. Guided by the Elders, she learned sacred songs and, for several years, served as a ceremonial helper (oskapewis) in sweat lodges.

These ceremonies have always been, for her, a soul-guided path—an inner calling where learning unfolded through humility, respect, and presence.

It was only about seven years ago that working with medicinal plants became fully rooted in her life. The first recipes came through guidance, and this work then deepened through study, experimentation, and time. Her products are conceived as sacred creations, made with intention, love, and respect.

Teachings received from Catherine Cheezo, a respected Cree ceremonial woman, emphasized the importance of purifying sacred objects—drums, eagle feathers, stones—a practice Sheba S’Quay also applies to her creations. For her, a product is never “just” a product: it carries intention, respect, purification, and coherence with the materials used. She favors glass for preparations intended for humans and uses safe, animal-appropriate containers for horses. She also works with crystals—not from a notion of magic, but through a respectful approach aligned with the energy of the materials.

To ground this practice within a responsible and structured framework, Sheba S’Quay completed training in naturopathic medicine at the Institut de formation en naturopathie (IFN). She holds diplomas in naturopathy, trophology, and health management, and is a member in good standing of the Collège des naturopathes du Québec (CNQ), Société ÉducoSanté (SES), and the International Association of Hygienist Naturopathy (AINH).

Today, through Les Trésors de Sheba S’Quay, located in the Laurentians of Québec, she shares this life path through the creation of natural, ecological products dedicated to the well-being of body, soul, and spirit. Each creation reflects a guided journey, rooted in life, awareness, and respect.

Sheba S'Quay

My name is Sheba S’Quay, which means “Woman of the Morning.” I am a mother and grandmother, and a naturopath. I was a Reiki Master for 15 years. Deeply in love with life and nature, I use my natural gifts—strengthened and refined over the years—to help those who come to me.

I am a messenger of transformation, working with the hand drum and the heart, supporting people through life passages and karmic releases, including the use of energetic oils.
